Just read her story "Younger Women" in Subterranean. Really good, especially for anyone who has read Twilight. But she maneuvers past parody very deftly. Her short story collect What I Didn't See just came out. Maybe I should get it.

You really should. It’s a brilliant collection – in fact you should just read everything by her you can possibly get your hands on.

Just finished reading it. It was really good. But the story “The Pelican Bar” was, for me, the best by such a degree that its position as first story made the rest seem like a slight letdown, except for the story “What I Didn’t See” which would have been the best, except that I read it in SciFiction ages ago.
Anyways…the Jane Austen Book Club was on my list ages ago, but my library didn’t have it. I think I would enjoy it even more now, now that I’ve actually read all the Jane Austen books it references.

The Jane Austen Book Club is pretty good. I’ve been told by various people that her best work is the novel Sarah Canary. I really should get around to reading it.
