So…yeah…

Kind of wierd stuff around the house today. At 2 AM, a campus cop came by and cut all of the tape that was keeping the doors unlocked. Basically, in our house no one has a key. The doors are simply unlocked all the time. Personally, I see no problem with this. I’m not a huge civil libertarian or anything. I do think that it is valid to sacrifice a few civil liberties for security (as circumstances allow), but in this case it was simply ridiculous. There is very little crime on this campus. I mean, there were a two muggings last year (no one got hurt and it was near the libary), a few laptop thefts, and a bunch of bike thefts. That’s it really. No one is going to sneak up to Synergy (which is really isolated, and on this big hill) and do much damage.

Anyway, not much else has happened. I’m finding that there is simply not enough time in the day when one is socializing, going to class, doing homework, studying, and doing extracurriculars. This sucks. In the past I simply did not go to class and did not study. But now my newly ressurected work ethics are putting up road blocks. Oh well…
